Co-designing a High Level Process Map

Background

Sunwater is a government owned corporation responsible for delivering water to communities, irrigators and businesses in regional Queensland. While their First Nations commitment statement is a point of pride in the organisation they identified that there were gaps in their approach to implementing the strategy.

Opportunity for futures

Sunwater owns and operates at a number of sites across regional Queensland. At all of these sites Sunwater is seeking to develop strong and mutually beneficial relationships with Traditional Owners and other First Nations residents. Concurrently,  Sunwater recognises its role as an employee in creating a culturally responsive workplace.

Approach

We were engaged to support the development of a high level process map. We approached this project via a review and gaps analysis of the available policies and other material provided by Sunwater. We followed this with the design and delivery of a workshop to members of the senior leadership team. The outcomes of this were presented back to Sunwater  these and ensuing facilitated discussions supported the development and design of the high-level process map.
