Yarn 2048, a collaborative art making process culminating as a futures map.

In 2019, we collaborated with our inaugural Artist in Residence, Melissa Spratt, to bring to life our See Change Sand Tracks project through a futures map. Melissa finger knitted and assembled the spectacular futures map over the course of the residency, with the process documented by filmmaker, Salvador Cantellano, forming Yarn 2048 (below). The piece was also part of The Walls exhibition on Gold Coast City Futures in October of 2019.
